What are you publishing?
This decides how the search engine files it. Pick a format for a real deck list, or the last option for loose cards, tokens and alternate art.
Leave this off for proxies. A proxy is a new picture on a card that already exists in Magic, like your own art for Sol Ring. That is what most uploads are.
Turn it on only if you invented the cards themselves: your own names, your own rules text, your own abilities, cards that do not exist in Magic. Custom sets get their own badge on Explore and their own filter, so players looking for proxies of real cards do not trip over them, and players hunting for homebrew can find them.
Turn this on if any of the artwork came out of an image generator. It puts a small label on the deck and lets people filter towards it or away from it on Explore.
Both kinds belong here. Plenty of players are looking for exactly this, and plenty of others only want work somebody drew. Labelling it honestly is what lets both of them find what they came for, and mislabelling it is the quickest way to get reported.

The theme tag attaches itself to every card in this batch. Type it here and you never type it again.

Optional, and most people skip it. If you leave it empty the card you tick as Commander becomes the cover on Explore. Add one here only if you want a proper banner instead of a card face.

It lands on the explore page, searchable by its theme, its commander, every card name in it, and the character on each card.
You are confirming one of these is true: you made the artwork, you have the artist's permission, or it is genuinely free to use. You are also confirming it carries no official Wizards of the Coast assets, meaning their card frames, mana symbols, set symbols, holo stamps, logo or fonts. Card names are fine.
